Order Form

All of the terms below are presumed read, understood and agreed to by our customers when we receive your first and subsequent orders.



When ordering please include your daytime phone number and best hours to contact you so that we can check with you if there is any question regarding your order.

No minimum purchase is required. Thompson Enamels for copper, silver or gold and Soyer Enamels can be purchase as a sample (0.3 oz) or in as small a quantity as 1 ounce.


CHECK: We accept personal or company checks for your purchases. Checks must be in US funds and drawn on a US bank.  There is a $30 fee for all returned checks.

BANK CARDS: We accept VISA, MASTER CARD, AMERICAN EXPRESS and DISCOVER. Please include card number & expiration date, name of card holder and card billing address with your order.


We are not liable to loss or damage to merchandise once it has left our warehouse. Once we ship an item the post office takes over responsibility to deliver your packages to you.  Check with your local post office regarding filing a claim, also call us and let us know if there is a problem so we can supply information you may need to make the claim.


All exchanges and returns must be authorized by our sales representative.  Exchanges and returns must be made within 30 days of the invoice date. Orders returned for anything other than defective merchandise will be assessed a 15% restocking fee. NO RETURNS AFTER 30 DAYS.

To request a return: Contact Schlaifer's to discuss the return and obtain a return authorization number.

Non-Returnable items: Books, Videos/DVD's and Special Order/ NON-stock Items.

Unauthorized returns will be subject to a minimum 50% restocking fee.  No credit will be issued for non-returnable items.

All authorized returns are subject to a 15% restocking fee.

Shipping costs are the customer's responsibility except for defective items or shipping errors.

For defective merchandise, please include a written description stating the problem. If an item is defective Schlaifer's will return the product to the manufacturer for inspection and verification of defect prior to issuing credit.

If incorrect merchandise has been shipped to you through our error, exchanges will be made without additional shipping charges. Items must be unused, in their original container and accompanied by copies of all pages of the original invoice.


All merchandise remains the property of Schlaifer's Enameling Supplies until fully paid. Prices are subject to change without notice. All technical information is provided by the manufacturer. This information has been compiled to assist our customers with problems concerning compatibility. Schlaifer's Enameling Supplies and other contributors of technical information are not responsible for any damages to persons or property resulting from the use of any or all technical information and/or merchandise provided in this catalog.


Checks returned for Non Sufficient Funds will accrue a FINANCE CHARGE of 1.5% per month (after deducting all payments, credits and returns) on the outstanding balance. THIS IS AN ANNUAL PERCENTAGE RATE OF 18%. Accounts will be placed for collection and collection and/or court cost and/or attorney fees will be added.


All special orders must be prepaid. Special orders cannot be canceled or returned for credit. Please contact our sales representative for details.


Orders are shipped by United States Post Office, usually via priority flat rate.

There is a $3.50 handling fee for all shipments.

Packages are insured for an additional fee. Packages that are insured and lost or damaged by the postal service may take several months to be replaced. Packages to countries that the postal service will not insure  cannot be traced or replaced by the postal service or Schlaifer's Enameling Supplies, since there is no insurance and tracking available.  Those packages are sent at your own risk.

Delivery Confirmation and  Insurance are available for USA shipments.
